There are other great options. Alaska’s health department is offering access to HALT’s online programs to eligible Alaskans living anywhere in the state. Participants can join HALT’s Self-Measured Blood Pressure Program (SMBP) for 4–6 months to learn how to manage their blood pressure and make other related healthy changes. These changes could include losing weight or staying at a healthy weight, managing stress, and taking medications if needed.

This year, the Alaska Department of Health can support more than 500 Alaskans living anywhere in the state to join online programs through its partnership with HALT. Adults in these online programs participate at no cost to them.
